Congratulations!
Today was a BUSY day!! Ginger and Glory all went to their new homes! Also, Leeda will be leaving on Monday! We are so happy for them! We know that they have the best new pet parents!! We can't wait to hear how our girls are doing.

Update on Aspen
In a strange turn of events, we had the pleasure of returning a dog to his family today.
Aspen came to us from a local overcrowded shelter (if rescues do not pull from these places, they are forced to euthanize). It was not unusual for us to pull dogs from these shelters and give them a new chance at life. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. While Aspen was in foster care, we noticed that he did not enjoy being in a house (really did not like it!). We tried adopting him out, but still these issues continued. Upon getting him back, we heard about the story of a Siberian Husky named Aspen who was stolen from a Berrien Springs home (Here is the original story:

Well, today it was confirmed that our Aspen was actually the Aspen that was stolen from the pen. Aspen has a microchip, but it had shifted in his body, so when the first shelter scanned him, they could not locate it. After some searching, we found the microchip and confirmed that our Aspen was truly the stolen Aspen. We are so happy to be able to reunite an owner and their dog! We are so happy that Aspen is back with his family! He immediately went to them and was OVERJOYED to be back with his people!
