Team Janica Racing

A huge thank you to Team Janica Racing for their donation to Dream Paws Rescue's Haenlein Emergency Medical Fund.

Team Janica Racing performed a memorial race in honor of driver Mark Haenlein. Mark, Wonderful father to Maestro and husband to Vanda, passed away in a tragic vehicle accident in June 2012. The number of individuals and families across the continents that his death shocked cannot be recorded. There was standing room only at his funeral.

So many people I have spoken to have shared what they were doing at the time they found out about Mark's death and how it affected them minutes later to years later.  I still remember the moment I found out and almost went off the road. I still cry when I hear from Vanda, Millie or Otto (Mark's mom and dad), or hear about wonderful things that Maestro is doing.

Mark  was one of those special people that one will never forget and one whose love for all around him brought joy and a smile to everyone's face.

Maestro and Vanda:
Thank you Team Janica for making another Dream Come True.

O'Rien

So many of our crew have been adopted out to their wonderful Forever Homes!  One of our fur babies that still needs a home is O'Rien.
O'Rien is an American Staffordshire mix. He is just shy of 7 months old, great with other dogs, housebroken, crate-trained, and fantastic with children. He also rides very well in the vehicle!

O'Rien's Story:
At just under 6 months of age, O'Rien was picked up by South Bend Animal Care and Control. He was in a wire crate next to a dumpster on December 30th, 2012. This was one of those MINUS 40 DEGREE days!!!  He is lucky to be alive and even luckier to have a fantastic foster home at Tyler's, but O'Rien is in need of his own family now.

If you have bully breed experience and can continue with his basic obedience, please fill out an application online.
